You can upgrade whenever you need more monitors or channels—new limits unlock as soon as your payment succeeds. Downgrades are scheduled for the next renewal so you always get the full period you already paid for.

Absolutely. The free plan lets you monitor up to 10 URLs with 10 alerts per month by email or the Chrome extension, plus hosted MCP access. No credit card required, no time limit.

We'll remind you before your trial ends. If you decide not to continue with that paid plan, you can move back to the Free plan at any time—your monitors, contacts, and history stay intact.

Yes. Some plans include a longer trial when you pick annual billing. The pricing cards show the exact trial length for the billing mode you select, so switch between Monthly and Annual to compare.

Pick monthly for pay-as-you-go or switch to annual to lock in the savings shown on each card (currently about 20%). Annual subscriptions are billed upfront for 12 months and you can cancel before the renewal date to stop the next charge.

Email alerts and Chrome extension desktop alerts are included on every plan, free included. Every paid plan adds Signal, SMS, Telegram, webhooks, and additional integrations including Discord, Slack, Google Chat, Webex, ntfy, Jira, SIGNL4, PagerTree, Microsoft Teams Workflows, PagerDuty, Pushover, and Pushbullet. Opsgenie remains available for existing workflows, but Jira is recommended for new setups. Saas Builders and Founding Builders also include WhatsApp. Monthly quotas are shown on each plan card.

Every AlertsDown plan, including Free Builders, includes hosted MCP. New users can give their coding agent one instruction to onboard with Free Builders or a paid plan and connect. Paid onboarding is payment-first: no account is created until payment is verified, with card checkout. Existing users sign in and manage their hosted MCP key from My Account; bootstrap never issues a key for an email that already owns an account. Use the MCP list_plans and purchase_plan tools for purchases or upgrades; if you already have an active card subscription, purchase_plan returns a billing portal URL instead of a duplicate checkout.

We'll warn you in-app when you're nearing URL or notification limits. Existing checks keep running—you can archive unused monitors or upgrade to raise the limit whenever you're ready.
